Julia van den Boorn graduated in 2013 from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI) with a BA in Fashion Design. Afterwards she gained experience internationally at fashion houses such as Hussein Chalayan, FelderFelder and Iris van Herpen couture. With more than a decade of experience under her belt, she decided to focus on her own creative expression and start her namesake label in 2025.

Designing modern couture, with a strong focus on craft and textile manipulation. Creating fabrics from unconventional materials, crafting beauty out of the unexpected. Through handweaving, quilting and other techniques, rich and surprising textures come to life. Design follows from material research and draping, inspiring silhouette and cut. Creating garments that resonate with the individuality of its wearer, bringing out authenticity and expressive sophistication.

All garments are locally made in Amsterdam and our handbags are crafted in Italy.
